Tennis

Tennis is a great way to have fun and exercise, too.  With lighted courts, you can play whenever you like!

Beacon Knoll Tennis Court Rules and Use

  2. Proper tennis shoes are required at all times. Street shoes are not allowed on the courts.
  3. Proper tennis etiquette should be observed at all times. No loud or offensive language will be tolerated.
  4. All players are responsible for the cleanliness of the courts. Please remove all litter such as can tops, cups, etc. when leaving the courts.
  5. The gate to the courts should be locked when leaving the area. Keys to the pool and tennis gates are issued to each Beacon Knoll residence or lot owner.
  6. A Beacon Knoll resident or a lot owner must accompany guests or non-residents when using the courts.
  7. The courts are available for use whenever daylight permits. The courts should be thoroughly dry when in use to avoid the potential for injury.

Court Time and Reservations

Access to the courts will be limited to residents and guests. All guests must be accompanied
by an adult resident.
2. Use of each court is limited to one hour if someone is waiting. Note: the maximum time you
may wait for your playing partner to arrive is 10 minutes– then the waiting party is allowed
use of the court.
3. For residents requesting to host a tournament event open to BKHOA residents, follow the
Scheduling Process located on the "pool" tab.
4. Only those people wearing regulation tennis shoes and carrying a tennis racquet/pickle ball
racquet are allowed on the tennis/pickle ball courts.
5. Lights must be turned off when not in use. If you are the last person using the courts, it is
your responsibility to turn off the lights, located on the entry gate frame.
6. Each resident household is permitted to host up to five (5) non-resident guests. For
requests involving more than five (5) non-resident guests per household, please submit
your request at least two (2) days in advance to BKHOA at bkhoaboard@outlook.com.
7. Parties with eight (8) or more players must request the court at least two (2) days prior to
intended use. These events must be scheduled and approved prior to the event date. If the
number of non-residents continues to increase, we will be required to use the Scheduling
Process on the "pool" tab with names of residents and non-residents and possibly add a fee per non-
resident.
8. Upon approval, BKHOA will provide an Approval Document detailing the date, resident
name, and the number of approved guests. Additionally, the information will be recorded in
the BKHOA Calendar (beaconknollhoa.com) for community awareness.

**No one is to be on the courts except tennis players. There are to be no kids playing on the courts unless they have a tennis racquet in their hands. No roller skates, skateboards or anything that would damage the courts are allowed.**
